ZAO "Nefteflot" from Samara has launched a new dredger of project Ts480M2rD/NF. The vessel is being built under a contract with AO "GTLK", concluded on November 30, 2022. The project was developed by the Rostov TsPKB "Stapel", and the vessel was laid down on March 29, 2023.
The dredger is a non-self-propelled diesel vessel designed for the development of sand, sand-gravel, and gravel pits using milling and hydro-loosening methods. It is capable of operating at depths from 4 to 30 meters. The main characteristics of the vessel are: length — 79.13 meters, width — 12 meters, board height — 3.5 meters, displacement — 1223 tons, draft in cargo — 1.85 meters, water capacity — up to 4500 cubic meters.
The ceremonial launch of the vessel will take place on June 19 on the territory of the "Nefteflot" plant at the address: Belorusskaya str., 132. The event starts at 13:30. All those wishing to participate must have an identity document with them.
The dredger being prepared for launch is unique in its class. It is capable not only of carrying out dredging operations and extracting sand and gravel mixture from a depth of up to 30 meters, but also of developing trenches for laying pipelines. In addition, the vessel is equipped with a sorting and processing complex, which allows separating the material into fractions directly on board.
ZAO "Nefteflot" is a shipbuilding and ship repair plant located in the "Sukhaya Samarka" backwater in Samara. The company specializes in the construction and repair of vessels of various complexity and has the necessary licenses of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and the Russian Classification Society.
