На строительстве Ленского моста началась установка коффердамов — опоры возводят в русле реки

Contractors have already driven about 100 piles. The riverbed section will be supported by a cable-stayed structure

Construction of the Lena Bridge in Yakutia is actively underway: installation of the first cofferdams has begun — temporary hydraulic structures necessary for the construction of piers in the riverbed. This was announced by the Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Aisen Nikolaev, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025).

According to him, contractors have already installed about 100 piles. The first cofferdam is more than 60% complete, and the rest will be installed in the near future. These are huge structures, each weighing several thousand tons.

All work is proceeding strictly according to the approved schedule. It is planned to complete the installation of piles for future supports in 2025.

The construction of the Lena Bridge is being implemented under a concession agreement between the government of the republic and the "VIS" group of companies. The bridge crossing will be made in the form of a three-pylon cable-stayed structure. The total length of the object is 14.7 km, of which more than 3 km will be in the riverbed section. The expected capacity is about 6,067 vehicles per day.

The project, worth 130 billion rubles, is included in the national program for the development of the Far East. Completion of construction is scheduled for 2028.

Earlier, in the fall of 2024, the first bored pile was installed in Yakutia, marking the beginning of the main construction cycle. Work in the riverbed began in the spring of 2025, after the completion of the ice drift.
