AvtoVAZ and SberMobile have announced the start of cooperation at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. As part of this partnership, the operator's SIM cards will be integrated into the telematic units of Lada cars, which will activate the Lada Connect system.
Users will be able to take advantage of many online services, including navigation with up-to-date traffic information, remote map updates, telematics, and access to streaming platforms. The first cars with pre-installed communication are expected to appear on the market by the end of this year.
SberMobile will provide connectivity based on the networks of several operators, which will significantly increase the stability of communication throughout Russia, including Crimea and the new regions. As part of the cooperation, it is planned to expand the partnership to new car models and corporate solutions for the country's largest automaker.
