Russian airlines are ready to conclude contracts for the acquisition of 200 MC-21 aircraft. This was stated by the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, Roman Starovoit.
According to him, despite the sanctions against the aviation industry, domestic airlines are successfully coping with all the difficulties, finding ways to maintain the airworthiness of aircraft and replace spare parts in a timely manner.
It is important to note that airlines are ready today to advance the purchase and acquisition of our domestic MC-21 aircraft for 200 aircraft; our airlines are ready to conclude contracts.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that funds for the modernization of the Tu-214 will be allocated from the Russian-Chinese aircraft project.
