The missile forces of Russia are armed with ammunition that in its characteristics is no worse than the Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM).
We are talking about modernized 9M723F3 ballistic missiles of the Iskander-M ground complex with a fundamentally new warhead, said military expert Ilya Golovnev.
The advantage of a hypersonic missile is its ability to penetrate concrete floors and go deep underground. Such a projectile is capable of reaching the foundation of a building, and its warhead, after impact, is able to continue moving by inertia, destroying everything in its path.
The speed of penetration reaches 950-1150 meters per second, and the depth is tens of meters. Thus, penetrating inside objects, missiles are capable of destroying command posts and warehouses.
The military analyst noted that the latest shells resemble the famous "bunker buster" - the American GBU-57 Massive bomb.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Tapir, the manufacturer of landing ships, won the right to spend 2 billion rubles on furniture.
