The Roscosmos State Corporation has announced ambitious plans within the framework of the national space project, which should make Russia a leader in the global launch services market.
Dmitry Bakanov, General Director of Roscosmos, said at a meeting in the Federation Council that by 2030, Russian cosmodromes will be able to perform 66 launches per year, and by 2036 — 113 launches. This is a significant increase compared to the current 46 launches in 2024. According to the presentation, in 2024, Russia's share in the launch services market was 6.5%. The national project envisages an increase in this figure to 28% by 2036.
