Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexei Zubritsky shared the nuances of shaving in zero gravity on the International Space Station (ISS).
How to shave in zero gravity? There are two ways: using a razor and using an electric shaver. I choose the shaver, as the razor quickly becomes clogged.
According to him, you can use both an electric shaver and a razor for this procedure, but in both cases it is necessary to clean the device with a vacuum cleaner, since there is no tap for rinsing at the station.
Cosmonaut Zubritsky, along with his colleagues — cosmonaut Sergei Ryzhikov and NASA astronaut Johnny Kim, arrived at the ISS on April 8 aboard the Soyuz MS-27 manned spacecraft. Their experience at the station highlights the unique living and working conditions in space.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Roscosmos had completed the sealing of the transfer chamber of the Zvezda module on the ISS.
