Лётчики Су-34 впервые показали на видео сброс авиабомб ФАБ-500 с УМПК

Glide munitions have increased the range to 95 km

Pilots of the fourth-generation Su-34 fighter of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) released a video of dropping four FAB-500 aerial bombs with universal planning and correction modules (UMPC).

FAB-3000

The footage shows that the military rose to a sufficient height and released four aerial bombs from the external suspension. After that, the wings spread out and the aerial bombs flew to the target thanks to the jam-resistant Kometa-M module.

The military also began to use modernized aerial bombs with UMPC, capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 95 km. Previously, such ammunition covered up to 80 km, but now their range has significantly increased.

The aerial bombs received reinforced mounting systems, longer wings providing increased range, as well as new control technologies. The carriers of the projectiles are Su-34, Su-35S, and Su-57 fighters.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the Tu-160M bomber surpassed the American B-1 Lancer: greater flight range and combat load.
