The "Kalashnikov" concern presented a modernized portable ultrasound device (ultrasound) for the first time at the specialized exhibition "Equipment". This was reported by the company's press service.
The device's body is made of impact-resistant plastic with an IP 68 protection rating. This protects the device from moisture and dust.
The battery capacity of the modernized ultrasound device has been increased by 2.3 times, which guarantees its operation for 6 hours. For reliability and ease of use, a hand loop encompassing the wrist and a carabiner attachment point have been added.
The portable ultrasound device is designed for rapid assessment of the condition of the wounded and can be used in ambulances, intensive care units, and in the field.
The operating temperature range of the device is from -30 to +55°C, and the weight of the ultrasound sensor is 330 grams. The total weight of the device does not exceed 1.5 kilograms. This makes it convenient for transportation and use in the field.
These devices allow for quick studies according to the fast, blue, and rush protocols, provide intravenous access, and perform regional blockade.
