In Omsk, a rare Moskvich-2335 pickup truck, manufactured in 2000, found a buyer almost instantly. The advertisement remained on the classifieds for less than a day, despite the considerable price of 580 thousand rubles.
For a 25-year-old car, this is a substantial amount, but it did not deter the potential owner, which is not surprising: very few of these cars have survived, and they can be considered a collector's rarity.
The sold specimen was distinguished by good preservation: the mileage was only 27 thousand kilometers, the body was without corrosion and visible damage, the interior looked complete, and the engine compartment was clean and tidy. The seller especially emphasized the "ideal condition for its age", although he noted traces of operation on the cargo platform — logical for a utilitarian machine.
Moskvich-2335 is built on the basis of the 2141 hatchback, but differs in a number of technical features: in particular, a reinforced rear subframe, leaf spring rear suspension and a 1.7-liter engine with a capacity of 85 hp. In fact, it was an attempt to create affordable utility transport based on a mass model. Production was limited, which makes the surviving specimens especially valuable.
In the advertisement, the seller indicated the possibility of exchange: both for a car and for a garage, a country house, a plot and other options.
Judging by the speed of the transaction, interest in such "nostalgic" cars remains stable, especially if they are in good condition.
