In Omsk, a rare "Moskvich-2335" pickup, manufactured in 2000, almost instantly found a buyer. The sales ad lasted less than a day on the classifieds, despite the considerable price of 580 thousand rubles.
For a 25-year-old car, this is a substantial amount, but it did not deter the potential owner, which is not surprising: very few of these cars have survived, and they can be considered a collector's rarity.
The sold specimen was distinguished by its good condition: the mileage was only 27 thousand kilometers, the body had no corrosion or visible damage, the interior looked complete, and the engine compartment was clean and tidy. The seller emphasized the "ideal condition for its age," although he noted traces of use on the cargo platform — logical for a utilitarian machine.
The "Moskvich-2335" is built on the basis of the "2141" hatchback, but differs in a number of technical features: in particular, a reinforced rear subframe, leaf spring rear suspension, and a 1.7-liter engine with a capacity of 85 hp. In essence, it was an attempt to create affordable utilitarian transport based on a mass-produced model. Production was limited, which makes the surviving specimens especially valuable.
In the ad, the seller indicated the possibility of exchange: both for a car and for a garage, a country house, a plot of land, and other options.
Judging by the speed of the transaction, interest in such "nostalgic" cars remains stable, especially if they are in good condition.
