At least 20 droneports will appear in Russia by the end of 2025. This was announced by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Savelyev.
Together with the Ministry of Transport, Rosaviation, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, we have made a coordinated decision to develop not only a network of landing sites, but also mobile droneports. As of May of this year, 31 droneports have already been installed in 8 regions. By the end of the year, we plan to install at least 20 more droneports.
The implementation of the initiative will reduce the cost of building landing sites and will contribute to the development of the market for unmanned aircraft systems services.
Savelyev also recalled that earlier the State Air Traffic Management Corporation (OrVD) and the Almaz-Antey Air and Space Defense Concern completed testing of a test complex of a unified integrated system for planning the use of airspace (ES OrVD). This system is designed to test various technical solutions and procedures related to ensuring the safety of joint flights of manned and unmanned aviation.
Alexey Varyatchenko, General Director of "BAS" (a subsidiary of the State Transport Leasing Company), also stated that the company plans to equip transport and infrastructure facilities with 8 droneports by the end of 2025.
A droneport is a complex of take-off and landing platforms and special infrastructure that ensures the operation and routing of drones in an automated mode. The station independently performs tasks according to a pre-programmed program.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the first official "Fluffy" droneport in Russia opened in Sakhalin.
