To maintain its own aviation positions in the export military market, Russia is ready to offer India deeper technical cooperation within the framework of joint production and procurement of the latest Russian Su-57E fighter.
First of all, this concerns the possibility of fully using Indian weapons systems, which could not be implemented in the French Rafale fighter already sold to India.
The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has offered the Indian side to increase the share of localization of aircraft production. It is expected that the list of instruments, components and other parts of the Su-57E that India will be able to produce independently will be expanded.
To do this, it will be given the appropriate technologies - but on the condition that a firm contract is concluded. This will give India the opportunity to use its own aviation weapons on the Su-57E. These weapons include Astra medium-range air-to-air missiles, Rudram radar-killing missiles, and Gaurav guided bombs.
It should be taken into account that the United States is currently preparing to offer India a contract and joint production of the fifth-generation F-35A fighter.
At the same time, the United States, like France, does not agree to the level of localization of joint production that India requires.
In this regard, the Russian proposal for the Su-57E may look more competitive, as it involves greater localization of production. Moreover, India could also potentially use Russian developments to create its own fifth-generation Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) fighter.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the reliability of Russian air defense exceeded 99%.
