Kalashnikov Group Decides to Optimize Production with AI of Own Design

Students of the company's academy have developed software for effective order planning

A project group of students from the Kalashnikov Academy in the field of "Neuro. Artificial Intelligence" together with mentors from JSC "Kalashnikov Group" has created new software for order planning. The software will allow for a more efficient production planning system based on data analysis from ERP, KSAUP and 1C systems used in the group's industry.

The developed software takes into account various factors. Among them are optimal equipment loading, number of changeovers, minimization of work-in-progress, and quantitative constraints. As a result, the software offers the most optimal solutions for planning.

The program has a user-friendly interface that shows equipment loading and physical effort of workers. In the future, this software will help factory workers make more informed decisions in operational planning.

The software has passed information security checks and is currently being tested with two information systems used in production. If the tests are successful, the project will be launched into full operation. In the future, it is planned to refine the program for more detailed operation planning and full end-to-end planning at the plant.
