"Sloppiness": Deputy Explained Why Tu-95, Tu-160, and Tu-22M3 Are Not Protected at Airfields

The lack of protection at strategic airfields was called a systemic problem

State Duma Deputy Andrei Gurulev explained why strategic airfields are not covered in Russia. According to him, the situation can be described in one word — sloppiness.

The parliamentarian recalled that strategic aviation is part of Russia's nuclear triad. For example, up to 16 X-55 missiles can be loaded onto a Tu-95 bomber.

Sloppiness. How else can you explain it? This is a systemic problem. I think they will figure it out now, they will conduct an analysis.

Mockups of new rapidly erected hangars for aviation at airfields have appeared on the Web. They were proposed to be made of metal profiles and chain-link mesh.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the manufacturer of advanced missiles for Su-57 fighters will expand production.
