Auction house Gooding & Company notes that the Lada Niva represents an opportunity to purchase a piece of the rich history of the 1980s. And for a relatively modest amount, unlike cars like the 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Lungo Spider, which sold for $14 million at last year's auction.
The exact price for the Niva has not yet been announced, but it is predicted that the starting price will be about $20,000.
