Russian military forces have begun using modernized air bombs with unified planning and correction modules (UMPC), capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 95 km.
Previously, such munitions could travel 60–80 kilometers, but now their range has significantly increased.
The air bombs received reinforced mounting systems, new control technologies, and longer wings, providing increased range.
At the same time, bombings are still carried out from a height of about 9000 meters, and the speed of the ammunition is up to 700–800 km/h.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that "Dan-M" decoy drones with a jet engine have been developed in Russia: they will fool air defense systems.
