Be-200

According to him, research and development work on the modernization of amphibious aircraft has already begun. Their result should be the Be-200ChS-8 model with new PD-8 aircraft engines of domestic production.

We currently have a group of 10 Be-200ChS aircraft. The ministry plans to have 16 aircraft of this type in service.
Alexander Kurenkov, Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations

The Be-200ChS jet amphibious aircraft has a unique ability to take off and land on land and water. The capacity of the tanks is 12 tons of liquid.

Work on re-engining the already legendary amphibious aircraft will begin after the latest domestic engines have completed a full cycle of tests and certification on the regional SJ-100 "Superjet" in a fully import-substituted form.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the "inner world" of the PD-14 aircraft engine was shown in detail for the first time: the temperature is like on Venus.
