«Умные» переговорные комнаты придумали в МТУСИ

Scientists have developed a system that automates the booking and management of office space

In modern offices, negotiation rooms occupy an important place. Their use is often associated with various difficulties, including confusion in schedules and downtime. Scientists from MTUCI have presented an innovative solution that aims to automate and optimize the operation of these spaces.

The system developed by specialists combines Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technologies. The booking process is easily and conveniently implemented. Thus, Wi-Fi provides stable data transmission for video conferencing and interaction between devices. BLE is responsible for tracking visitors and managing access with minimal energy consumption. The approach not only simplifies the booking process, but also prevents downtime by automatically ending sessions if the negotiation room remains empty. Smart sound and motion sensors help track the actual use of premises, which reduces the likelihood of errors.

The system allows employees to easily book negotiation rooms through a mobile application or corporate website. Booking data is transmitted to special readers and access points. If the booking time expires and the room is not in use, the system notifies the administrator of the possibility of its release.

The developers are confident that in the future the system will become even more convenient, offering personalized settings and additional functions to fully meet the needs of users.
