Japan Showed Tanks with Russian Development — Anti-Drone Barbecue Cages

Tankers of the Japan Self-Defense Forces have adopted the experience of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and equipped their tanks with "barbecue cages" to protect against strike drones. The footage appeared on social networks.

In the photos, you can see Type 90 and Type 10 tanks with anti-drone screens that can protect the roof of the turret from shells dropped from quadcopters. At the same time, this design will not prevent a maneuverable drone from hitting the tank.

Type 10 is the newest tank in Japan. The protection of the vehicle, which was adopted in 2012, is provided by combined armor with ceramics. Type 10 is also planned to be equipped with active protection systems.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that new Tor-M2 air defense systems will be adapted to destroy kamikaze drones.
