Blogger Igor Svirin measured the thickness of the paintwork of the new Lada Iskra SW Cross. He used a car displayed at a Moscow dealership as a sample for analysis.
During the inspection, it turned out that all internal parts of the sills and external body elements are galvanized, which provides the car with increased protection against corrosion. The paint thickness was comparable to that of the Lada Vesta.
The paint thickness on the hood varies from 147 to 158 microns, on the doors and fenders - from 123 to 135 microns, on the trunk door - about 130 microns, on the inside of the sills - 55 microns, and on the roof - 112 microns.
The measurements were taken on a car in maximum trim, painted in an exclusive orange color. It is assumed that such characteristics will also apply to other versions of Lada Iskra.
