To combat the use of mobile phones and micro- наушников during the Unified State Exam in 2025, about 11.5 thousand cell phone jammers will be used throughout Russia. The decision to implement such devices is made by each region independently.
In some regions, jammers are installed in every classroom, which requires significant material costs. Sometimes they are even installed in school restrooms to avoid possible violations and conflict situations during the exam. This helps ensure that prohibited devices are not used in the premises.
To use a micro- наушник during the exam, a transmitter is needed, most often a mobile phone. Such phones are detected at the entrance to the school using metal detectors. Rosobrnadzor regularly monitors the market for new technologies to prevent cheating. Among the innovations are even domestic developments that can record and intercept signals from micro- наушников, but their implementation requires coordination with the Ministry of Digital Development and Roskomnadzor for the legality of use.
The main period for passing the Unified State Exam started on May 23 and will last until July 4. The first exams are in chemistry, literature, and history. More than 712 thousand people have registered to participate, of which over 637 thousand are current year graduates. Almost 6 thousand examination centers, over 300 thousand organizers, and more than 6 thousand medical workers will be involved in organizing the exams. The progress of the exams will be monitored by about 40 thousand public observers.
