Kalashnikov Ships First Batch of AK-12K Rifles in Multicam Camouflage to the Military

AK-12K and AK-12SK sparked great interest among Belarusian security forces during the MILEX 2025 exhibition in Minsk

The Kalashnikov Group (part of Rostec) has shipped the first batch of AK-12K rifles in multicam camouflage under a state contract. This was announced by the company's CEO, Alan Lushnikov, on the sidelines of the MILEX 2025 International Exhibition of Armaments and Military Equipment in Minsk.

The group noted that the shortened AK-12K was designed taking into account the requests of the Airborne Forces personnel. The rifle will be delivered to the customer first.

The small-sized AK-12SK is recommended for those whose main tasks do not include conducting small arms combat — artillery crews, armored vehicle crews, UAV operators, and pilots.

Multicam camouflage is a modern camouflage pattern developed for use in various natural conditions. It combines several shades in the form of blurred transitions and spots, making it effective in mountainous, wooded, and desert areas.
