First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov and Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov visited one of the leading Russian enterprises specializing in the production of special chemistry.
During the visit, Manturov emphasized the significant increase in the production of key components for ammunition in the country. He noted that further capacity building will be ensured through the creation of new and modernization of existing sites.
Earlier it was reported that the production of components for artillery ammunition in Russia has increased almost 22 times. This was made possible by the modernization of enterprises, the construction of new workshops and the transition to round-the-clock operation. Many enterprises operate in three shifts without days off, which allowed to increase capacity by almost 2.5 times.
The growth in the production of components for ammunition plays a key role in strengthening Russia's defense potential and reducing dependence on external supplies. Modernization and expansion of production facilities in the field of special chemistry contribute to the achievement of technological sovereignty and increased national security.
