The PULS elevator plant (part of the LIFT-IMPORT group of companies) has started producing explosion-proof elevators. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region.
The new elevators are developed using modern technologies and are planned to be used in areas with increased danger, including enterprises with a high risk of explosion or fire due to combustible gases, vapors or dust. The plant has already started accepting orders for equipment for such facilities.
Explosion-proof elevators are a piece product. Each project is unique and depends on the parameters of the building and the specifics of the enterprise.
The company's production facilities will allow producing up to 100 units of this product annually.
In the manufacture of explosion-proof elevators, the plant uses materials with a minimal risk of friction and heating, excluding aluminum and titanium alloys. Each elevator is accompanied by a report on the assessment of ignition hazards, which takes into account the probability of friction, static electricity and other risks. The plant also uses domestic materials and components, which contributes to the development of local production.
Contrary to stereotypes, import substitution in such a complex industry as the elevator industry reaches significant indicators - about 80%. All cable products, shells, mechanical equipment and most of the electrical components are manufactured by Russian manufacturers.
