The Ural plant in the Chelyabinsk region is preparing to launch the production of axles for trucks as part of the "Axles" project.
By the end of the year, it is planned to open 11 new modern sections, and the industrial operation of the first two has already begun — "Drum-Hub" and "Cup-Trunnion". The company will establish the production of drive axles and front axles.
The annual capacity of the new complex for processing drums and hubs is 120,000 hub units and 145,000 brake drums. Drums are assembled with hubs in a robotic cell.
In addition to parts for new axles, the equipment will process components for serial Ural-4320 axles, as well as produce parts for third-party customers, mainly manufacturers of trailer axles.
The transition to new equipment will allow decommissioning outdated lines, freeing up production space.
