Fraudsters are calling Russians, posing as employees of the Pension Fund. They say that an error has been made in a person's pension record. In this way, fraudsters are trying to gain access to Russians' accounts on "Gosuslugi." This was reported by Alla Khrapunova, an expert at the "People's Front. Analytics" direction.
Fraudsters call on behalf of employees of the Pension Fund, they still have not accustomed themselves to the fact that such a department does not exist and the Social Fund works instead, and inform the victim that an error was found in the calculation of seniority during the audit. In this regard, it is proposed to come to the office of the Pension Fund to clarify the data.
The specialist explained that the fraudsters then advise the victim to register in the electronic queue to visit the organization's office. To do this, it is necessary to provide the code received in the SMS message. In the process of communication, fraudsters focus on the fact that the code will be sent from "Gosuslugi," since information about work experience is stored in this service and confirmation takes place through it.
It is important to remember that to register with the Social Fund, you do not need to provide the code from the SMS by phone to an unknown person.
Employees of the Fund never call citizens on these issues, Khrapunova stressed. If in doubt, you need to hang up and clarify the information on the official numbers of the department.
Earlier, a new scheme became known: fraudsters deceive Russians by posing as employees of marketplace pick-up points. They say that they can deliver already ordered goods to your home, but ask you to provide your SNILS, TIN or code from SMS.
