The Kalashnikov Concern (part of Rostec) has begun mass deliveries of standard low-noise firing devices for AK-12 assault rifles to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. This was announced by Sergey Urzhumtsev, Chief Designer for Small Arms at the Kalashnikov Concern.
The Kalashnikov Concern did not supply these assault rifles with low-noise firing devices. Starting this year, standard low-noise firing devices are being delivered to the troops on a massive scale.
According to him, this low-noise firing device has the characteristics specified by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
First of all, the complete absence of flash, including during the first shot. Second, the sound level. We are actively researching all attachments available on the market. Moreover, the Ministry of Defense itself gives us such a task. I can say that there is no analogue to this device on the market.
