Dredger "Nikolay Grichanovsky" Launched in Astrakhan Region

Project FPDG3 Developed by Flotproekt Design Bureau

The second dredger of project FPDG3, "Nikolay Grichanovsky," was launched at the production facilities of "Stroyliderplus" in the Astrakhan region. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.

"Nikolay Grichanovsky" is a non-self-propelled high-performance cutter suction dredger. In the bow of the steel vessel there is a slot for the frame of the soil intake device.

Characteristics of project FPDG3:

  • Length — 68 m
  • Width — 12.2 m
  • Height — 4.1 m
  • Deadweight at a draft of 2.1 m — 607.9 t
  • Performance of the dredge pump unit — 10,000 cubic meters/hour
  • Depth of bottom soil development — up to 15 m

Project FPDG3 was developed by specialists of the Flotproekt Design Bureau for Rosmorport.
