Serial production of a reduced version of the Geran kamikaze drones has started in Russia. This is a small Tyuvik drone, which looks similar to the well-known long-range kamikaze drone.
The new devices are designed for combat work directly on the front line; it is almost impossible to jam them with electronic warfare equipment.
Externally, the Tyuvik repeats the contours of the Geran long-range unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on a reduced scale — they are built according to the same aerodynamic scheme, the "flying wing". The new machine was nicknamed the mini-Geran for its similarity.
This light attack wing is designed to destroy armored vehicles.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the characteristics of the advanced Pantsir-S1 air defense missile system with a new radar from the longer-range Pantsir-SM have become known.
