GRC named after V. Makeev and MIT are already developing a promising ballistic missile for submarines

Russia is developing a new strategic nuclear-powered submarine with ballistic missiles. But what exactly the submarine will be depends on the missile system with which it is planned to equip the advanced ship, the Military Russia portal noted.

According to his information, two design bureaus of naval ballistic missiles — the Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology (MIT) and the SRC named after V. Makeev periodically exchange views on the future carrier for naval strategic nuclear forces.

Both design bureaus are working on a promising ballistic missile to replace the "Bulava" or "Sineva". The successful combat use of the "Oreshnik" ballistic missile may affect the design of the combat equipment of the "Bulava-X" from MIT.
