Rare GAZ M-20 "Pobeda" cars have been put up for sale on Avito. Two cars from the Saratov region are among the few surviving examples of this model, which may make them a desirable lot in the retro car market.
The car, bearing the proud name "Pobeda" (Victory), was produced from 1946 to 1958 at the Gorky Automobile Plant.
There is a legend that the car was originally intended to be called "Rodina" (Motherland). When this became known, I. V. Stalin asked: "Well, how much will 'Rodina' cost?" As a result, it was decided to name the car "Pobeda".
The car has the following technical characteristics:
- Engine with a volume of 2111 cubic cm, power 52 hp at 3600 rpm, maximum torque 127 N*m at 2200 rpm
- Body length — 4665 mm, width — 1695 mm, height — 1640 mm, wheelbase — 2700 mm
- The maximum speed of the "Pobeda" is 105 km/h, fuel consumption — 11 l/100 km
The GAZ M-20 "Pobeda" from the village of Ust-Kurdym is painted in sky blue and, according to the seller, is in excellent technical condition. Year of manufacture — 1954. The mileage is only 36695 km. The owner is asking 490,000 rubles for the car.
The advertisement from the village of Yuryevka indicates that the model is in storage. It is sold in gray-green color and has been painted once. Year of manufacture of the car — 1957. Mileage — 27000 km. The seller also notes the good technical condition and original units of the car. The cost of this car is estimated at 550,000 rubles.
