The nuclear-powered missile submarine "Krasnoyarsk" of Project 885, code "Yasen-M," of the Pacific Fleet was met at its base in Kamchatka after the first-ever firing of the "Caliber" complex. This was reported in the press service of the fleet.

The commander of the Submarine Forces of the Pacific Fleet, Vice Admiral Vladimir Dmitriev, received a report from the commander of the cruiser "Krasnoyarsk," Captain 1st Rank Alexei Druzhinin, on the successful completion of the task and congratulated the submariners on their arrival at their home base.

It was reported on April 28 that during planned exercises in the Pacific Ocean, the "Krasnoyarsk" successfully hit a coastal target at the Kura training ground in Kamchatka with a "Caliber" cruise missile from a distance of over 1,100 km.

"Krasnoyarsk" is the second nuclear-powered missile submarine of Project 885M "Yasen-M," built at the "Sevmash" shipyard. In December 2023, "Krasnoyarsk" was accepted into the Russian Navy.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the Pantsir-S1 air defense missile system received a new radar for missile guidance and target tracking.
