Russia will close the airspace over the "Kapustin Yar" test site, from which the medium-range ballistic missiles (MRBM) "Oreshnik" are launched.
According to preliminary data, from 6:00 on May 12 to 4:00 on May 13 UTC, the Russian Federation will temporarily close the sky over a part of the Saratov and Volgograd regions, which covers the test site.
It is specified that the restrictions will be in effect from the ground to an unlimited height, which is typical for ballistic missile tests.
Military expert Vladimir Gundarov clarified that by the time it reaches its orbital altitude, the "Oreshnik" accelerates to Mach 11 and from there heads towards the target in a cocoon of hot plasma - additional natural protection for such warheads.
