Crews of the Grad multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) have reduced the preparation time for a salvo to seven minutes, according to the combat vehicle commander with the call sign "Kozyr".
According to him, the crew receives target coordinates from reconnaissance drones. Thanks to this, a minimum number of ammunition is spent on destruction.
It usually takes us up to seven minutes to take a position and fire a salvo. We have already destroyed several foreign-made self-propelled artillery units.
A rare modification of the Grad multiple launch rocket system from the Tula NPO Splav has been spotted on the front line. This is the lightweight modification 9K55 Grad-1, which entered service in 1976 and was produced in a series of 500 units, compared to 8500 units of the standard 9K51 Grad MLRS.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the latest counter-battery radar based on the Tigr-M armored vehicle has been developed in Russia.
