The "Terminator" tank support fighting vehicle (BMPT) will be shown for the first time at the Victory Parade in Rostov-on-Don. The latest armored vehicles are currently actively used in the combat zone and help destroy fortified areas.
The vehicle based on the T-90A tank received an uninhabited turret with two 30-millimeter automatic cannons, anti-tank missiles, and a machine gun.
The BMPT's arsenal also includes automatic grenade launchers. The vehicle's protection is provided by combined armor, covered with "Relikt" dynamic protection. The vehicles are also equipped with "barbecue cages" to protect the upper hemisphere from kamikaze drones.
The "Terminator" layout favorably distinguishes it from a tank. They have the same armored base, but the "uninhabited" turret without ammunition gives significant advantages.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Uralvagonzavod delivered seven of the latest T-90 "Proryv" tanks of the 2024 model to the military.
