The Ministry of Industry and Trade (Minpromtorg) has announced the launch of additional support measures for manufacturers of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). Companies will be able to receive subsidies to compensate for lost income related to providing discounts to buyers.
To participate in the program, several conditions must be met. First, the manufacturer must confirm the "Russian origin" of its products in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 719 dated July 17, 2015. Second, companies are required to sell drones in a volume that is twice the amount of the subsidy received. Support extends to multirotor UAS with a maximum take-off weight of up to 500 kg.
Subsidies can reach two million rubles per unit, but cannot exceed 40% of the contract price. The agreement will be valid for one year.
The initiative is part of the federal project "Stimulating Demand for Domestic Unmanned Aircraft Systems." It aims to support UAS actively used in agriculture. Subsidies provide manufacturers with the opportunity to expand the market and increase the competitiveness of their products against foreign counterparts.
