Friendly fire excluded: Ministry of Defense revealed the main advantages of the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft complex

SAM system crews reliably cover the airspace from low-signature drones and cruise missiles

Military personnel of the anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) "Tor-M2" in combat positions provide air cover for ground units from reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The Tor-M2 complexes are on continuous combat duty, providing reliable protection for units from various air threats. Mobile groups quickly move between positions, quickly deploying the complex from a traveling position to combat readiness to control the airspace.

The modern radar system of the complex allows you to effectively detect and destroy a wide range of targets - from aircraft and high-speed cruise missiles to low-signature drones.

Special attention is paid to countering guided and anti-radar missiles, which pose a serious threat to ground units. The automated recognition system guarantees the safety of its own aircraft, eliminating the possibility of "friendly fire."
