Su-30SM and Su-24M fighters began to sink kamikaze boats in the Black Sea

Fighterbomber: effectively destroying BECs is only possible under conditions of visual visibility

Russian Su-30SM fighters have begun to be used to destroy unmanned kamikaze boats in the sea area, military expert Evgeny Damantsev said.

Blogger and retired pilot Fighterbomber added that Su-24M fighter crews are also participating in this. According to him, the peculiarity of the destruction of BECs by aviation is that it is possible to effectively sink them only under conditions of visual visibility.

That is, the pilot must see the BEC (target) with his eyes in the attack. This is due to the absence on the planet of guided or self-guided aircraft weapons that can reliably hit a small, high-speed and maneuvering target.
