Military expert Evgeny Damantsev previously stated that the North Korean destroyer "Choe Hyon" is equipped with the Pantsir-ME SAM/Artillery System.
The SAM systems are integrated into a combat information and control system based on a 4-sided AESA radar, which issues target designation and illuminates targets for anti-aircraft missiles. The estimated target detection range with an RCS of 0.1 sq. m can reach 120-160 km. This radar provides target designation for the Pantsir-ME SAM/Artillery System.
