Specialists of the Amur Shipbuilding Plant (part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation) have started the main engines on the emergency rescue vessel "Kerch Strait" (project MPSV06), the company's press service reported.
The operation of the main diesel generators (MDG) was checked as part of commissioning works.
The plant's specialists carried out checks of the emergency shutdown of the MDG when the sensors were triggered, and tested the emergency shutdown when the engine speed was exceeded.
The shipbuilders checked the interface between the integrated ship control system and the MDG control system.
