Россияне всё меньше беспокоятся, что людей на работе заменят роботы

Уровень тревоги по этому вопросу среди россиян снизился за последние шесть лет

Sociologists from VCIOM found that 52% of Russians do not believe in the possibility of complete replacement of people by robots. Over the past six years, the level of concern about this has decreased: in 2019, 47% of respondents expressed similar concerns.

The respondents are convinced that robotics should be actively developed in areas such as industry, disaster relief, agriculture, space exploration and medicine. 83% of respondents are interested in using robots in everyday life to free themselves from routine household chores.

Russians are concerned about the potential negative consequences of mass robotization. 41% of respondents point to the risk of degradation of human labor, 38% to the possibility of cyberattacks and hacking. 35% fear the shutdown of important processes due to failures, and 33% fear the threat if robots get out of control. In addition, 31% of respondents express concern about privacy violations, and 24% about unpredictable decisions made by machines.
