Kalashnikov Brings Legioner E29 Drone with Built-in Neural Network to Exhibition in Tashkent

The new drone with a flight range of up to 550 km is designed for aerial photography and cargo delivery

At the international exhibition in Tashkent, the company "Quiet Wings" (part of the Kalashnikov concern) demonstrated the Legioner E29 unmanned aerial vehicle. The model is designed for aerial photography, territory monitoring and cargo delivery weighing up to 5 kg.

The device is equipped with a gasoline engine, providing a flight range of up to 550 km. Launching requires a site of 7×7 meters and two operators, which simplifies operation in remote locations. The system supports vertical take-off and landing, and the aerodynamic design allows maneuvering in mountainous terrain.

The key feature of the Legioner is the integrated neural network, which analyzes data from cameras in real time and helps operators make decisions. The connection is protected by encryption, and navigation combines GLONASS, GPS and inertial sensors, maintaining accuracy even with weak satellite coverage. The drone is designed for 500 flights or 2.75 thousand hours of operation.

Characteristics of the Legioner E29 UAV:

  • maximum dimensions of the take-off and landing site: 10 × 10 m;
  • maximum flight duration with payload: 5 h 20 min;
  • maximum flight speed: 120 km/h;
  • maximum flight range: 520 km;
  • operating air temperature range: from –30 °С to +40 °С;
  • wind resistance: up to 15 m/s.
