Не усы, лапы и не хвост: собачий нос стал цифровым паспортом — ИИ распознает животное по индивидуальному рисунку

The "Golden Nose" service will help find a lost dog even without a chip

An innovative service for pets, "Golden Nose," has appeared in Russia — now they can be identified by a photograph of their nose. The technology, developed in Samara, uses artificial intelligence to create a digital passport for the pet, which will help in finding lost animals and оформлении документов для путешествий.

The project was created by students of the Volga University of Telecommunications and Informatics. The principle of the system is simple — each dog's nose has a unique pattern, similar to human fingerprints. The neural network is trained to recognize these patterns, and the more photos it analyzes, the more accurate the result will be.

A special DogNose portal has been developed for uploading photos. In the future, integration with the Gosuslugi portal is planned, which will greatly simplify the оформление документов для путешествий with a pet. The developers are confident that by photographing the nose of a stray dog, it will be possible to obtain information about its owner.

The technology opens up new opportunities for pet owners. Now it will be easier to find lost dogs, and traveling with a pet will become less troublesome.
