Investments in new technologies and equipment will help develop the Russian fleet

The Industrial Development Fund (IDF) has allocated funding to 25 shipbuilding projects, with a total loan amount of 8.5 billion rubles.

The funds are directed both to the construction of ships and to the production of necessary equipment. The total budget of all projects exceeds 18 billion rubles, according to the IDF.

In the Orenburg region, the "Uralelectro" plant received a loan of 202 million rubles to launch the production of new electric motors, which will be used in shipbuilding and nuclear energy. In the Moscow region, the "Moskabel Plant," thanks to a loan of 262 million rubles, began producing cables for shipbuilding and ship repair works.

In addition, the "Perm Shipyard" is implementing a large-scale project to modernize and mass-produce stopping and mooring complexes for electric vessels. The IDF provided the company with 124 million rubles in the form of a concessional loan. All these initiatives contribute to the development of domestic shipbuilding and increasing its competitiveness in the market.
