During drills, servicemen of the Central Military District deployed the latest Krasukha electronic warfare systems. Tactical exercises on suppressing shortwave communications were conducted by specialists under the guidance of experienced instructors who participated in the special military operation.
The automated radio jamming system is designed to suppress shortwave communication lines, bringing down aviation and artillery.
Lifting is performed using hydraulic motors, sections are extended to a height of 35 meters, raising the emitter, which is located on coils.
The main purpose of the Krasukha EW system is to cover command posts, troop groups, high-precision weapons, and important industrial facilities from aerial radar reconnaissance.
The capabilities of Krasukha allow organizing radio jamming in a wide range of frequencies, without limitation in azimuth and elevation. The range of one complex, consisting of two vehicles, is more than 300 km. The wheel base of Krasukha is a four-axle KamAZ; the mobile complex is capable in any terrain, at temperatures from minus to plus 50 degrees.
The Krasukha EW system was developed by the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute "Gradient" (Rostov-on-Don); the Novgorod plant "Kvant", part of the Concern "Radioelectronic Technologies" (KRET), participated in the production and testing of the prototype.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Su-30 fighter overshadowed the Superjet SJ-100 in the test flight video.
