Crews enter the combat area only after receiving guidance from reconnaissance drones

Military personnel of the calculation of a high-power self-propelled gun 203-mm self-propelled artillery installation 2S7M "Malka" began to work in battle in cooperation with unmanned aerial vehicles. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

Having received the target coordinates, the Malka's crew advances to the area of combat use. Transferring the vehicle from the stowed position to the combat position, the military personnel fire a series of 203-mm high-explosive fragmentation shells weighing more than 110 kg each. After completing the task, the crew quickly left the firing position.

The Malka self-propelled gun is a modernized version of the 2S7 self-propelled gun "Pion", developed in the 1980s and still considered one of the most powerful in the world.

The main purpose of the self-propelled artillery installation is to defeat important targets and enemy objects in the tactical depth of the defense behind the front line. The rate of fire of the gun is up to 2.5 rounds/min, the range is about 50 km.
