The fully import-substituted SJ-100 passenger aircraft, which will make its first test flight before the end of April, meets all modern requirements and has good export potential. This was stated by Deputy Vladimir Gutenev.
The parliamentarian recalled that certification tests involve a whole range of both ground and flight tests in various modes. He paid special attention to the importance of safety system tests.
Gutenev expects that the airliner will have good export potential in foreign markets.
Today, not only the technical characteristics of the aircraft are important, but also the service. And in this regard, the Russian aircraft manufacturer compares very favorably with the European and American manufacturers, whose quality turns out to be greatly exaggerated. Therefore, the "green light" to our aircraft opens up new opportunities, including expanding further capacity to meet not only domestic needs, but also to provide export revenues from the entire line of civil aircraft,
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Rostec admitted the postponement of the first flight of the fully import-substituted SJ-100 with PD-8 engines.
