The tests took place at the company's test site, which allows simulating typical accident situations: side, frontal and rear collisions, as well as hitting pedestrians. There are only two such complexes in Russia, and the compactness of the AvtoVAZ laboratory distinguishes it, including at the international level.

The process of each test was recorded by high-speed cameras shooting at a frequency of 2000 frames per second.

At the training ground, the car can be accelerated to 80 km/h, tests according to European standards are carried out at a speed of 64 km/h. In addition to simulating accidents, Lada Iskra passed the test of door hinges, lock reliability, seat belts, steering column, child seats, as well as body and interior elements.
