The Russian medium-range ballistic missile "Oreshnik" is capable of causing a small earthquake. This was stated by retired Lieutenant Colonel Gennady Podlesny.
Our missilemen can drive a missile into a tunnel. And if you hit there with "Oreshnik", there will be an earthquake.
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the warheads of "Oreshnik" attack designated targets at a speed of up to 10 Mach or about 3 km/s, and Western air defense systems have no way to intercept them. The range of the missile is up to 5 500 km.
Military expert Vladimir Gundarov clarified that by the time it reaches its orbital altitude, "Oreshnik" accelerates to 11 Mach and from there heads towards the target in a cocoon of hot plasma — an additional natural protection for such warheads.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the latest drone control system "Orbita" will allow strikes on targets from anywhere in the world.
