New production of parts for Lada Iskra launched in the Samara region

Intexplast has started producing components thanks to the support of the Industrial Development Fund

Mass production of interior, underhood, and exterior parts for the new Lada Iskra car has begun in the Togliatti special economic zone (SEZ) in the Samara region. The launch was made possible thanks to the support of the Industrial Development Fund (IDF).

Intexplast has undertaken the mass production of parts. IDF loan funds were used to purchase 10 injection molding machines equipped with robots and conveyors. Investments in the expansion of production exceeded 275 million rubles. Of these, 152.5 million rubles were provided by the federal IDF under the "Component Products" program.

Thus, the company has started producing more than 50 items of assemblies and auto components made of plastic. Among the parts produced are trunk and door trim, bumper trim, radio panel, and air filters.

The level of production localization is 100%. In addition, the company, as a second-tier supplier, supplies AvtoVAZ with plastic parts for Lada Largus, Granta, Vesta, and Niva cars.

The official start of sales of the Lada Iskra model is scheduled for July 20, 2025 — on the day of the AvtoVAZ anniversary celebration.
